For smaller tiles with an intricate pattern, you can buy tiles with a mesh mounted backing. It will make it look like you did a painstakingly intricate job when in fact it can be fairly easy.
The project can be fairly trouble-free if you avoid a few of the major mistakes that most people commit. The first one is that they do not purchase enough tiles. If you are well short of tiles, this can mean that you end up having to stop the job before you are finished.
