Digital music is rising fast thanks to the Internets technology,representing around 10 percent of the total global music market. Around the world in 2006, an estimated five billion songs, equating to 38,000 years in music were swapped on peer-to-peer websites, while 509 million were purchased online.

 All the state of the art solutions for today’s changing world is affecting most sectors including the way we entertain ourselves with music and video.

First it was cassette recordings,Cd’s, and dvds. today a new technology is rising and that is digital downloads of music and videos in to your computer without having to go to any store to purchase or rent them.

Among the challenges that digital music and video present is the price per download, some want to keep it as a fix rate while others want to charge by artist or ratings.Legal music downloads were first compiled by Billboard in 2003, but they didn’t gain mainstream acceptance in the United States until around February 2005, when digital sales for singles started to be included in the Billboard Hot 100 and other Billboard charts.

The Art of Storytelling – Choosing and Preparing your Story

In some communities across the world there are people who are designated as official storytellers for the community. Mostly however, anyone can tell stories, all that’s necessary is the teller, the audience and a good story. When telling stories though, each teller should be aware that they need to tailor their approach to their audience. Good storytellers don’t imitate someone else’s style when they’re telling stories, they develop a style and a delivery of their own. They will also develop a repertoire of stories for varied occasions and will select appropriate stories for different audiences.

If you have been asked to entertain a group of children – or indeed any group with a story, then it is worthwhile undertaking some preparation. When telling stories you need to be aware of your audience’s needs and expectations. You should only use stories you are comfortable with and know that you can tell with full understanding, emotion and belief.

Utah Concerts Offer Diverse Forms of Entertainment

Throughout the years, music has been a common thread that unites generations and had provided social commentary, individual expression, and a soundtrack for life. Music has evolved and changed as time has moved forward, and become, in some cases more of an art, and in other cases, less than one.

Discover Art and Culture in London

London is england’s capital city and one of the world’s leading finance, business and cultural centres. in addition to this, the city’s influence on politics, education, entertainment, media, fashion and culture make it a huge international city.


London boasts 4 World Heritage Sites, which are the palace of westminster, Westminster Abbey and St. Margaret’s Church, the Tower of London, considerable Greenwich, and the royal botanic gardens in kew.


London has a rich history that spans over two thousand years, which means that it would be impossible to discuss it all. However, the city was especially badly affected around world war two.


Over world war 2, London was badly bombed. kids were evacuated to the countryside to get away the bombing. those who stayed sheltered from bombs in the london underground. However, nearly 35,000 londoners were killed, and roughly 50 000 were seriously injured.


Because its the capital of britain, London has the best museums in the country. One of the best is the Science Museum, which is in south kensington. The museum was established in 1857 and boasts more than 300 000 exhibits, comprising of Puffing Billy and Stephenson’s Rocket.  Read more...

Keeping Those Energetic Toddlers Entertained

Those toddlers are just full of energy! Some days it might seem impossible to keep up with them or keep them entertained. There are many fun activities to stimulate those little minds and maybe wear them out for a nap! Here are some ideas for activities for toddlers ages 18 months to three years:

Out and About Activities

• To keep those busy toddlers entertained in the car, as you are driving name things that you see and ask your toddler to point to them. For example, ask them “Where is the tree?” or “Where is the truck?”

• Waiting in the doctor’s office can be a challenge with a toddler. While you are waiting ask your child to walk over to the object you name.

• Before you set out on a car trip, choose a “Color of the Day.” As you’re driving in the car, shopping at the grocery store, or waiting at the doctor’s office, help your toddler point to all the things she sees that match the color you’ve chosen. Help her identify those items.  Read more...

6 Things a College Student Can Do For Entertainment

Are you one of the college students not with many hobbies because of school? As a college student we generally tend to loose lot of hobbies just because some school takes up much time and it is significant to get out & have lots of fun as college student. As school carries so much of stress we require some kind of balance in order to have enjoyment. Having fun is big part of health. When we are having fun, laugh & get some air our health we feel much better. We need to ensure that we do not keep us cooped all day, and keeping up with late studying & not having fun. Start sports group – It is vital that as the college students we get some kind of work out. We are needed daily to get about 30 minutes of exercise. Starting sports team not just fulfills our every day exercise requirements but it is good time to have lots of fun with associates.
